Two young Spanish couples got off the wooden boat. After sailing for about half an hour from Padar Island, they finally arriving at the mythical island of Komodo. The sun was beating down on them as it was right above their head. But they knew it was the price they had to pay.
The naturalist guide explained the various tracks they could take, and the young couples eventually chose the medium track. It was a bit tiring, but the flora and the birds’ songs along the way were well worth the effort.
They didn’t spot any Komodo dragons along the track, and they looked a bit disappointed. However, by the end of the track, they were in for a huge surprise and immense joy as they found a massive Komodo dragon seemingly waiting for them. What a consolation!
